Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: HSSLC (10+2 Science) passed with Biology as a subject from a recognized Board/Council/University.
Age Limit (as of 01/01/2026): 18 to 40 years.
Relaxation: SC/ST (5 years), OBC/MOBC (3 years), PwBD (10 years), Ex-Servicemen (2 years).
Domicile & Registration Requirements:
Must be an Indian citizen and permanent resident of Assam (Permanent Resident Certificate required).
Must hold a valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate issued in Assam.
Must submit a declaration regarding "Small Family Norms" (Form-A).
Selection & Training Process
OMR-Based Written Test (100 Marks / 120 Minutes):
Biology: 40 Marks
Chemistry: 20 Marks
Physics: 20 Marks
General Awareness: 20 Marks
(Standard: HSSLC Science level)
Mandatory 1-Year Training:
Selected candidates must undergo a mandatory 1-year training course in Elementary Knowledge of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science at the School of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Ghungoor, Silchar (or its extended campuses).
Passing this course is mandatory prior to final appointment (a maximum of 3 attempts is permitted).
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years
- SC / ST: 5 years (up to 43 years)
- OBC / MOBC: 3 years (up to 41 years)
- PwBD: 10 years (up to 48 years)
- Ex-serviceman: 2 years (42 years)
