How to Link/Update Mobile Number in APDCL Website ?? (Step by Step )

APDCL Mobile Number Update


Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) has released a notification requesting its consumers to update their personal details including their mobile number on its official website to serve in a better way. Consumers who fail to register their mobile phone nos. in APDCL portal, and not providing their relevant details within 15th July, 2021, may be barred from electricity connection temporarily.In this article, we will discuss how to update your personal details in APDCL official website. 
 
As per APDCL notification, all consumers need to update their following personal details:

1. Name
2. Consumer No.
3. Mobile No.
4. Aadhaar No. (if available)
5. Email ID (if available)
6. Occupation

Consumers can update the above details online or offline.  
 
Step 1: Using APDCL Official website .

Step 2: By visiting respective electrical sub-division office .

APDCL Mobile Number Update Online

Here is the basic steps to update mobile number by visiting APDCL official website.

Step 1: Visit APDCL website www.apdcl.org 
 

Step 2: Click on ‘Update Mobile Number’ tab. A new page will be opened.
 

Step 3: Enter your "Consumer No" and click on the "arrow" button . A new page will be opened.
 

Step 4: Now enter all details: 
Mobile No. (mandatory), Occupation (mandatory), Email ID (optional) and Aadhaar No. (Optional).

 Step 5: At the end of Step 3, click on "submit" button .

Step 5: An ‘OTP' will be sent to your mobile phone.

Step 6: Put the ‘OTP’ in correct place and click ‘Verify’. 
 
All of your data have been successfully updated. 

APDCL Mobile Number Update Offline

To update mobile number through offline mode consumers has to visit respective electrical sub-division office and submit all the following data writing in a paper.
 
1. Name
2. Consumer No.
3. Mobile No.
4. Aadhaar No. (if available)
5. Email ID (if available)
6. Occupation
