UPSC Recruitment 2021
No of posts: 1 (UR-01)
Department: Integrated Headquarters, Directorate of Civilian Personnel, Ministry of Defence
Age Limit: 50 years.
Educational Qualification:
(i) A Ph.D. Degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Control System Engineering/ Embedded System Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/ Controls & Instrumentation Engineering/ Electrical Engineering and experience of ten years of teaching, research and/or industry, out of which at least five years at the level of Assistant Professor/ Reader or equivalent grade
OR
(ii) In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:
(a) First Class Master’s degree in Control System Engineering/ Embedded System Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/ Controls & Instrumentation Engineering/ Electrical Engineering.
(b)
Significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a
Ph.D. Degree in Control System Engineering/ Embedded System
Engineering/Instrumentation Engineering/ Electronics &
Instrumentation Engineering/ Controls & Instrumentation Engineering/
Electrical Engineering and Industrial/ professional experience of ten
years out of which at least five years at a senior level of Assistant
Professor/ Reader.
Experience: Ten years in teaching, research, and/or industry, out of which at least five years at the level of Assistant Professor/Reader or equivalent grade.
2. Associate Professor (Computer Science)
No of posts: 1 (UR-01)
Department: Integrated Headquarters, Directorate of Civilian Personnel, Ministry of Defence
Age Limit: 40 years.
Educational Qualification:
(i) A Ph.D. Degree with First class at Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science and experience of eight years in teaching, research, and/or industry at the level of Lecturer or equivalent grade, excluding the period spent on obtaining the research degree
OR
(ii) In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:
(a) First class Master’s Degree in Computer Science.
(b) Significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science and Industrial/ professional experience of eight years in a position equivalent to the level of Lecturer.
Experience: Eight years in teaching, research, and/or industry, at the level of Lecturer or equivalent grade excluding the period spent on obtaining the research degree.

(i) A Ph.D. Degree with First class at Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering and experience of eight years in teaching, research and/or industry at the level of Lecturer or equivalent grade, excluding the period spent on obtaining the research degree
OR
(ii) In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:
(a) First class Master’s Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering.

Age Limit: 35 years.
Educational Qualification:
(A)
(i) Masters’ degree in Nursing from a recognized University or Institute or
(ii) B.Sc. Nursing or Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing with one year experience in a Nursing College recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
(B) Registered as Nurse and Mid-Wife with Central or State Nursing Council.
